Step 1:
Pick 5 Numbers

For each play, choose five (5) numbers from 1 to 70 in the upper play area OR select the Quick Pick box in the lower right of the play area if you want the terminal to choose your numbers. You can also choose less than five numbers and have the terminal complete your play slip by selecting Quick Pick (QP).

Pick Your Mega Ball

Select one (1) Mega Ball number from 1 to 24 in the lower play area OR select the Quick Pick (QP) box in the lower right of the play area if you want the terminal to choose your numbers.

Number of Draws

For your convenience, tickets can be purchased for up to twenty-six (26) consecutive drawings, including the current drawing, by choosing an option in the “Number of Draws” box ($5 per play per drawing). Your ticket will be valid for the draw dates shown on the front of the ticket.

Multiplier

Each Mega Millions Play will include a Multiplier, which is automatically selected at the time the ticket is generated. This will multiply all non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X - up to $10 million.

For example, if you match all 5 white balls and have a 10X multiplier, you win $10 million!

On Tuesdays and Fridays at approximately 10 p.m. Central Time, five (5) numbers from a range of 1 to 70, and one (1) Mega Ball number from a range of 1 to 24 will be drawn. Prizes are won by matching some or all numbers drawn as shown in the following prize chart.

Cash option: A one-time, lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool.

How to Claim

In accordance with the Mississippi Lottery Corporation prize payment policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within 90 calendar days of the announced end of the game. Postmarks shall not constitute satisfaction of the 90-day requirement, and the risk of mailing tickets remains with the player.
In accordance with the Mississippi Lottery Corporation prize payment policy, all draw-style game prizes must be claimed within 180 calendar days after the draw date. Postmarks shall not constitute satisfaction of the 180-day requirement, and the risk of mailing tickets remains with the player.
Only original tickets will be accepted to claim any prize.
Prizes under $600 may be claimed at any Mississippi Lottery Corporation retailer. Prizes between $600 and $99,999 must be claimed at the Mississippi Lottery Headquarters or by mail. A Mississippi Lottery Winner Claim form, proper identification (ID) and the original ticket must be provided for all claims of $600 or more. Proper forms of ID must name, signature, photo, age and Social Security number. If mailing, send required documentation to the Mississippi Lottery Corporation, P.O. Box 321462, Flowood, MS, 39232. The Mississippi Lottery is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
Prizes of $100,000 or more must be claimed at the Mississippi Lottery Headquarters located at 1080 River Oaks Drive, Bldg. B-100, Flowood, MS, 39232.
For instant scratch-off games, the number of prizes is established at the time of printing and will change as prizes are won.
